Angels October Newsletter
September in Review
What a great start to our 2009-2010 school year! We began by bringing our Teddy Bears (or another “friend”, we even had a groundhog!) to Preschool with us. To ease the transition to Preschool, we showed our Teddies how to make and be a good friend, to share and use appropriate words, and even gave them a tour of our wonderful school.
We learned about apples, which will be helpful when we visit Johnson’s Farm in October. The children really enjoyed this lesson, especially when we baked apple turnovers. We read many books, and learned about number 1-5, circle, sphere and oval, and colors red, green and yellow.
We talked about trusting God when we are afraid as we read the story of David and Goliath Come on in and see the giant Goliath and how tall we are in comparison.
