Happy Spring Shepherd Families,

I hope you all had a blessed Easter and a wonderful break!  Thank you Trish and Sung for hosting a wonderful class party and thank you to everyone who sent in items to help make it so much fun for the children.. they truly enjoyed it! 

Well spring has finally sprung and the Shepherds are going to dive right in and learn about bugs.. for the next 2 weeks we'll learn about ones that crawl, fly, are colorful and ones that hide..  We'll be learning about butterflies and their life cycle and actually watch live caterpillars (hopefully) turn into butterflies!!  exciting!!   While discussing bugs we will also talk about feelings, Daniels Diet and foods we like and don't like (that topic got snowed out in February).  

We will end the month discussing Gardening and what's in our backyard, Earth day and it's importance to all of us and how it is so important to take care of what God created

Makes me sad to know the year is almost over.  The children have grown so much in so many ways. Your children fill mine and Miss Dorene's hearts everyday!
